Home School Agreement

The school will make every effort to :

• Provide a safe, well ordered, happy and caring atmosphere;

• Encourage the children to do their best at all times;

• Demonstrate that each child is valued as an individual;

• Encourage the children to take care of their surroundings and others around them;

• Arrange parents evenings appropriately, to discuss a child’s progress;

• Keep parents informed about school activities through letters, and notices of special events.

• Make sure that my child arrives in school regularly and on time;

• Provide a note or telephone the school to explain any absence;

• Attend open evenings to discuss my child’s progress;

• Support the school’s homework and behaviour policies.

The child will keep the Golden Rules:

• I will take good care of the school building and equipment;

• I will walk inside the building;

• I will talk quietly;

• I will be friendly and polite;

• I will tell a teacher or an adult if I have a problem;

• I will only have kind hands and feet;

• I will be helpful and try my best at all times;

• I will always do the homework set and return it to school on time.
