Mrs S. Jones
Hello, my name is Stephanie Jones and I am the Nursery / Reception teacher. I started in Abernant in September 2000, and although I find it hard to believe I am now going into my fifth year at the school. Doesn’t time fly !!!
I was born in Aberdare Hospital and have lived in Aberdare all my life. I now live in Abernant with my fiancée.
My hobbies and interests include reading, listening to music and attending the gym in an attempt to keep fit.
Netball
The school netball club meets once a week on a Monday after school. The sessions currently take place in the school yard and the sports club alternately.
No matches have been arranged as yet as we decided to take a year out from the local netball league to allow the children time to develop their skills and learn the rules of the game. However it is my aim to arrange appropriate matches with other schools in the area after Christmas. This will allow the children time to learn the skills and rules and also to develop their confidence in playing the game before participating in a competitive situation.
