Welcome to the AS/A2 Law website. Law is a fascinating subject which affects all of us from the time we are on until the day we die. There is no aspect of our lives in which the law is not a part.

The basic aim of this course is to acquire knowledge and understanding of the English Legal System and to study various aspects of the Criminal Law.

No previous knowledge of the subject is required but you do need to be aware of changes that take place with regard to our legal system. Watching the news and other current affairs programmes, reading newspapers and legal magazines is an essential part of the course. A willingness to read widely from a variety of sources is therefore crucial.
