Get Sorted
Get Sorted is a substance misuse education advisory project and that supports teachers delivering substance misuse education to children and young people within their organisation. The process involves a variety of different levels of support from delivering a demonstration lesson for teachers to observe to team-teaching and providing ad-hoc telephone support. The aim is for teachers to be able to confidently deliver substance misuse education.
Links are provided to Get Sorted's Assessment Forms and the lesson plans and resources for Lessons 1 and 2 of its Transition Project. The lesson plans and resources can also be found on Get Sorted's CD-ROM which contains the entire Scheme of Work from Year 5 to Year 12. For Get Sorted's involvement to be as effective as possible, please familiarise yourself with the lesson plans and resources for the Lessons 1 and 2 and complete the Needs Assessment Form for exploration following the delivery of the demonstration session.
