What have we achieved?

	Successfully completed the annual admission of circa 10K pupils across the County Borough.
	Raised the profile of Health and Safety amongst staff and encouraged a new attitude to personal health and safety matters including reported incidents of violence at work.
	Supported schools, parents and other organisations during sensitive incidents.
	Provided information to help the Council to support teachers and schools in civil cases.
	Provided schools and other service users with a reliable flexible caretaking support service when needed.
	Investigated and reported on 150 representations from members of the public concerning services provided by the Group Directorate and schools.
	Ensured that schools are in compliance with the Race Relations Amendment Act and that race equality issues are fully addressed in the Group Directorate.
	Highlighted the Council’s policy of Sustainability across the Group Directorate.
	Provided training to staff and Governors on the implications of the Human Rights Act.
