Y tymor hwn, rydym wedi bod yn edrych ar gestyll ar hyd yr oesoedd.  Dros yr hanner tymor, mi fuon ni’n gwneud pob math o dasgau’n gysylltiedig â chestyll – fe wnaethon ni fodelau, posteri, cyflwyniadau “Power Point” yn ogystal â gwaith ysgrifennu.  Mae ein holl waith i’w weld mewn arddangosfa yn y dosbarth.

 

This term, we have been looking at castles through the ages.  Over half term, we did a variety of tasks associated with castles – these included models, posters, Power Point presentations as well as written work.  All our work is to be seen in a classroom display.

Welsh Castles

 

Caernarfon Castle

Caernarfon Castle is one of the most impressive castles of all the castles

built by Edward the 1^st and one of Europe’s great medieval fortresses.

It was built in 1283 in North Wales.

 

                                              Caerphilly Castle

Caerphilly Castle is in

South Wales ~

Caerphilly.

It was built by

Gilbert De Clare

between the years

1268 and 1271.

Cardiff Castle

Cardiff Castle is in the capital city of Wales - Cardiff. It was built in the 11^th century, about 1091.
