Annwyl Rieni, Warcheidwaid neu Ddarpar Rieni,

 

                Mae dewis yr ysgol gywir i’ch plentyn yn benderfyniad anodd a hollbwysig i’w wneud. Mae  mwyafrif y rhieni  am  geisio  sicrhau  yr  addysg orau bosibl i’w plentyn / plant, disgwyliadau a safonau cyrhaeddiad uchel, lefel dda o ddisgyblaeth yn ogystal ag awyrgylch bleserus, gyfeillgar, hapus, gydweithredol a diogel. Yn Ysgol Gynradd  Gymunedol  Gymraeg Llantrisant, credwn y gallwn gynnig pob un o’r nodweddion hyn. ‘R ydym yn ymfalchio yn yr addysg eang, gytbwys a llawn, y profiadau a’r cyfleoedd cyfartal  a  ddarparwn, yn ogystal â’r gefnogaeth a gynigir i bob disgybl, ac yn falch  o lwyddiant ein disgyblion y tu mewn a’r tu allan i’r ysgol. Ceisiwn ein gorau glas i “weithio gyda’n gilydd er mwyn y plant” ar bob achlysur. Enillwyd ‘Marc Safon’ yr Asiantaeth Sgilau Sylfaenol a statws  ‘Buddsoddwyr  Mewn Pobl’ yn ddiweddar a byddwn yn gweithio tuag at wobrau eraill yn y dyfodol agos hefyd.

                 Agorwyd ‘Ysgol Gynradd Gymraeg Llantrisant’ ym 1976 mewn hen ysgol gynradd yng  nghanol  pentref Llantrisant. Dim ond deugain o ddisgyblion oedd yn mynychu yr ysgol yn y dyddiau cynnar, ond yn raddol tyfodd yr ysgol  nes  bod  dros  200  o  ddisgyblion. Ar ddechrau Tymor yr Haf 2005, symudodd yr ysgol gyfan i adeilad newydd sbon yn ardal Meisgyn, ger Pontyclun,  ac  agorwyd  yr  Ysgol newydd yn swyddogol ar Orffennaf 15fed 2005 gan  y  Cynghorydd  Mike  Forey a Mr. Gareth Edwards M.B.E.. Mae ymwelwyr â’r Ysgol yn canmol nid yn unig y croeso a gant, ond y cyfleusterau gwych – lleoliad agored a braf, digonedd o le i bawb, ffenestri mawr a goleuni naturiol yn llifo drwyddynt, meysydd chwarae gwastad a diogel, cwrt  caled   ar    gyfer    chwarae   pêl rwyd a  phêl  droed,  yr   offer  dechnolegol   ddiweddaraf,  lifft   i  bob   llawr,   neuadd   enfawr   a    llwyfan,    cyfleusterau  i  bob  dosbarth yn y ‘Cam Sylfaen’ yn ogystal â stafelloedd ar wahan ar gyfer y gymuned leol. 

                Gwerthfawrogwn   yn  fawr  gefnogaeth  a  chydweithrediad  rhieni a chyfeillion yr Ysgol wrth i ni gydweithio i sicrhau  parhad  o’r   disgwyliadau   a’r  safonau uchel sy’n nodweddiadol  o’r ysgol ers ei sefydliad ddeng mlynedd ar hugain yn ôl.  Cysylltwch â ni yn yr Ysgol ynghylch unrhyw  bryder am  fywyd a gwaith yr Ysgol.

Dear Parents, Guardians or Future Parents,

 

                Choosing  the  right  school  for  your  child  is  a  difficult and vitally important decision to make. Most parents try to ensure the best possible education for their child / children,  high  expectations  and  standards,  a  good  level of  discipline  in  addition  to  a  pleasant,  friendly,  happy,  co-operative   and safe environment. At Ysgol  Gynradd  Gymunedol  Gymraeg Llantrisant,  we  believe  we  can offer all these features. We pride ourselves on the broad,  balanced  and full education,  the  experiences  and  equal opportunities we offer, in addition to the support offered to all pupils, and we are proud of the successes of our pupils in and out of school. We try  our  very best to “work together  for  the  benefit  of  the  children” at every opportunity. Recently,  the  school  achieved the Basic Skills Agency’s  ‘Quality Mark’ and ‘Investors in People’ status.

                ‘Ysgol Gynradd Gymraeg  Llantrisant’  opened in 1976 in the old primary school in Llantrisant village. There were  only  around forty pupils in the early days, but gradually the school  grew  to over 200 pupils in number. At the beginning of the Summer Term 2005, the whole school moved to a new building in the Miskin area, near Pontyclun,  and  the  school was officially opened  on  15  July  2005  by   Councillor Mike Forey and Mr Gareth Edwards  M.B.E..   Visitors  to school not only praise the welcome they receive, but  also the wonderful resources and amenities—the open and spacious position, plenty of space for all, large windows with natural light flooding through, level and safe  playing   areas, a hard court for net-ball and football practice , the latest technology equipment, a lift to all floors, a huge hall with stage, resources and equipment for all classes in the “Foundation Stage” as well as separate rooms for the local community’s use.
